Youth Education

Cornerstones uses hands, sand, clay, and straw to connect youth to cultural resources including their built environment. We work with different types of youth groups and we strive to tweak our activities to meet the groups’ needs. We can introduce common core standards and New Mexico’s content standards and benchmarks into any lesson or have activities based on a social setting. All of our activities incorporate problem-solving skills and free play. While our activities vary, we always remember our long-term goal: to introduce youth to the importance of preservation.
